PT-141 is used as needed, not daily. Use it about 45 minutes to a few hours before intimacy, since the effect builds over a few hours. Use it no more than once in 24 hours, and follow the dose your provider sets and the directions on your label. Mild nausea or flushing is common with the first few uses.
PT-141 can temporarily raise blood pressure and commonly causes nausea or flushing. It isn’t for people with uncontrolled high blood pressure or heart disease. Your provider reviews your health answers before approving it.
Use it once at night, about 30 minutes before bed, after you’re done driving and screens are winding down. Don’t combine it with alcohol, sleep medications or other sedatives unless your provider says it’s okay.
